ok, i was wondering, if i buy an iPhone can i plug it into both a Mac and PC? or are there specific iPhones for each OS?
cause i dont want to buy an iPhone, use it on my Mac, then for some reason i end up getting a PC and i have to get a totally new iPhone too=[

No, they work through itunes. have full compatibility with both OS's.
you may have difficulty organizing photos on a PC, there doesn't seem to be a solution for that.

sweet, thats great. I asked because you use to have to buy a specific ipod for your OS, or you had to format it or something, if im remembering correctly. so its great that you can use 1 iPhone between the 2 OS's:D

While you can use the iPhone on both MAC and Windows, 'officially speaking', you can only sync the iPhone to one computer, be it MAC or Windows (Not even two MACS or two Windows Machines). There is a work around, or so I have heard ...
