iPhone compatible email Switch???

I'm currently a hotmail user....I know, I know....I started the account up when I first got on the internet about 12 years ago and have kept the same address ever since......since the iPhone doesn't play nice with hotmail, I've decided to get my email forwarded by izymail for a year.
DUring the YEAR period I plan on slowly setting up a new account....I'd like that new one to be one that I dont' have to change...for at least another 12 years....any recommendations???

well gmail is good, but on the iphone it seems that having an IMAP enabled email account is best, which gmail doesnt have. i would suggest looking for something like. i am not sure about yahoo mail but i think you should at least look at it. i had the same thing with msn, but i have switched over to my university's email address
