iPhone Compatible VPN Router

I would like to utilize the built in VPN functionality of the iPhone to connect to my home network while I'm away from home. Does anyone know of a router that is compatible with the VPN client built into the iPhone? If I understand what I've researched so far most of the consumer grade VPN routers require you to use proprietary VPN client software which is not iPhone compatible.

I just bought a D-Link DIR-130 for $85 and it was pretty easy to setup PPTP VPN on it, and I'm able to connect with my iPhone. They have received really bad reviews on Newegg, but I couldn't get IPSec to work for me, so I'm going to give it a try.

I am having problems with my 2Wire Modem now, the firewall keeps reactivating, but that has nothing to do with the router.

Working with OSX 10.6

Were you able to get the Client to Hardware VPN to work using Apple OSX 10.6 Operating System? If so, what settings/protocols?
