So why I want to do thins? I don't know. maybe just to see if its possible

You know when you get and iPhone form apple and the first time you connect it to iTunes it give you the Agreement Doc.
Well I got an iPhone 3gS from CraigsList and I pluged it in and it gave me the Agreement.
Now I know that you get this on new devices but this one was open and activated already. i know activation can be done and after that is the iPhone setup wether you want it new or old.

but how can these setting be reset? doesn't apple have to reset them?

Thanks

There's also a 'Reset All' button buried in the Settings. I'm not sure what exactly it does because I've never been there to see the end result, but it prompts you a few times to make sure you know what you're doing. It takes a good 2 hours to complete too.

I was always under the impression it reset the phone, because after a few prompts, the 'Reset All' changes to 'Reset iPhone'.

EDIT: Hmm, sorry, this is for Media and Content on the phone.
