iphone connected to regular phone - possible?

Hi,

Would like to connect my iPhone to a regular phone. I thought it would be easiest to go from 1/8th inch headphone jack to phone jack - into the phone. Do you know if they make that cable?

--Basically so I can answer my regular phone when the iPhone rings (but I don't want to use the iPhone earbuds). This would be for health reasons.

You would need to have your home phone calls forwarded to your cell somehow - there is no way to make the iphone act as a phone handset...

There is a similar get up to answer calls coming to your iphone....
