Iphone Connection Problem

Oke.
So i've istalled a new version of Itunes.
Now when i but the USB cable in my computer and then in my iPhone 3G
I hear 2 times the sound when you connect something to your computer.
My iphone doesn't connect then to my pc. It even don't charge battery My other USB hardware works in the port.. But why not my iPhone 3G !

Any help here from the others? Maybe some of you guys have this problem to? so how to solve this thingy ?

Does that same cable charge the phone through a wall outlet? You should test that to see if it's a bad cable. If that's not the case, then try a different USB port. After that... Wait for someone else to reply.

I have had this happen too. Rebooting the PC and the phone has always sorted it out for me.

Fixd it ^^, Reinstalled my Itunes.
