Here's what I did to fix this problem, should have thought of this earlier.....I didn't have to mess with my Linksys router, connect to the network on your phone, use the > button and click static.
Under IP address put something close to the usual IP address: 192.168.1.1xx
Subnet mask put 255.255.255.0
Router (your routers IP address): usually 192.168.1.1
DNS: right click your wireless connection on your computer, go to status, click support, then click details and type in the DNS Server there into your phone: 192.168.x.x
This should allow you to connect to the network and use the internet and itunes. Hope this helps anyone that's confussed!!
