Iphone contact trouble

Hi all,
My friend has an iphone and ipad using icloud. Her kid erased some of her important contacts from ipad. She has a itune backup. What are the options I can do to restore her contacts? Thanks!

Sync, but before you do under contacts choose the replace with contacts on computer option. If they are backed up it will put them back.

Oops, I meant if they exist on her computer.
