iPhone contacts has ~7,000 no name listings!

Above says it all. is there a way to remove those no name entries?
I synced with mobile me to another computer and of course had to erase all 700 empty entries (other than 1 by 1).

Same here

I had a similar problem (200 contacts). I deleted them by hand and was good for a sync or two, now they are all back. I've searched around and it might be tied to me also having Entourage on my Mac, even if I haven't used it in ages.
