The old phone is still setup to use your iCloud account. Get your cousin to sign into iCloud with his own account.

Is there anyway i can boot him with out contacting him. Becasue whenever they backup the phone, i am loosing my contacts on my phone and are replaced by other person contacts.

If you cannot get your cousin to do this then the only option is to do the inverse suggestd. Get a different iCloud account. That means a different Apple ID.
