Hi,
I recently apempted to create a sync between an iphone (with meny contacts) an a pc running outlook.
first i installed itunes. second, i exported some contacts from outlook express, as csv. file, and imported to outlook (successfuly).
then, i conected the iphone to the computer. itunes indentified it, and i right-clicked the iphone icon and selected 'backup'.
after backup finished, i set iphone contacts to sync with outlook. and synced...
now, all contacts from outlook apear on the iphone and contacts from iphone apear on outlook.
The problem is- some of the iphone contacts had lost data and are now containing names only or only part of the data(i.e. mobile number is ok, but fax number is gone).
before i noticed this problem, i had made a couple more syncs of the iphone, while testing the syncronization, which worked fine both ways.
fixing atempt: iphone's restore from back up option on itunes, shows only the last backup (that is 4-5 backups later then the initial backup, which may contain the lost data). so i didn't try it.
any ideas ? please help !

thanks in advance
yaaltevet.
