iPhone contacts

Hi Everyone,

I just got a new iphone and want to move my contacts. The problem is that only 35 of the 200 contacts I have is on icloud. My phone wont sync the rest of the contacts with itunes such that I can merge them. I have marked that iphone should sync all contacts, but nothing happens.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Maybe the 165 or so contacts not syncing are actually saved onto the SIM card? I'm not sure but that's my guess
