Is there a way to make a contact for all phone numbers that come in a certain format? I receive about 10-15 text message a day from my work and they come in the format of ###-#. I think it does this because of the way T-Mobile processes the emails that are sent to my phone number. Here a few of the phone numbers I receive 400-1, 371-2. So the possibilities are endless. Is there a quick of efficient way to have all of these messages go into one thread. Only thing I can think of is to create a contact and add every number starting from 000-0 to 999-9 but that is impractical. Thanks!

So I had a similar problem, my job lets me receive notifications via text or email, and I get them all day long. Originally I used text, but like happened to you, it came in on a new number every single time, which is annoying. What I did was switched the notifications to come to my gmail email address. Then I setup an auto-forward rule, to forward those notifications to my phone via SMS using the mobile email-to-text address, which is phonenumber@tmomail.net (i.e. 1112223232@tmomail.net). Now my forwarded notifications all come in on the same thread.

Maybe that helps!

P.S. every carrier has a different email-to-text address, easy to find on google. Tmobile is phonenumber@tmomail.net, att is phonenumber@txt.att.net, etc.

Thanks! When I set up the forward from my gmail to my phonenumber@tmomail.net it still comes to my phone as a ###-# number. Any ideas why?
