Iphone crashes when answering/during calls

Hello everybody.

I have been having this problem twice already and wanted to see what you guys thought:

1- i was on a call when i heard a weird noise(comparable to static noise or similar to when itunes freezes while playing a song, where it repeats the same millisecond of the music over and over...) then the phone froze and had to manually restart it.
No other application was open but the phone app.

2- today, i go to answer a call and right when i slide to unlock the phone resets to the apple logo...wtf?


What do you guys recommend ?

the phone is holding its charge well and it was basically full both times i had these issues.

let me know your thoughts.

try a restore... might fix it, but if not maybe check with apple

A Restore will not fix it. This new bug is gaining notoriety as an iOS4 problem.

I suppose Apple will tell us we're holding the phone wrong or something? Did Microsoft write this software?

iphome 3gs ios4 crashing during calls

hello for your peace of mind yes this a fault with ios4 upgrade you might want to check out apples own forums where there is quite a lot of posts about this problem,

I have exactly the same probs as you as do 2 of my friends!

I cant understand why there is'nt more of a fuss about this major issue any others out there?

Phone Crashing during Phone Call

Yep, happens to me (3GS), maybe 4 times already. Hope OS4.1 will fix this!

do you have mCleaner installed?
try to remove it..and reboot..
