I'm new to iPhone after yeards of Android and I'm still getting used to some "quirks".

Last night, as I went to bed, my alarm went off at 22:58. I didn't create that alarm. There was also one set for 11:32 and 11:38.

I've only ever set one alarm which I then edit if I want to change the time, plus I only ever set an alarm for on the hour or half past, never 58, 32 or 38 minutes past. I didn't create the new alarms so how did they appear? At the moment I see three options:

1. I did it in my sleep
2. It's an iOS bug of some sort
3. My cat did it.

Is there a bug? Can apps create alarms?

If your iPhone is set to military time than the iPhone may (like 50%) of the time set up the alarm on the wrong time. When I’ve added alarms at 1pm for getting stuff done, I woke up at 1am.

Another culprit could be your sleep schedule. Apple’s built in sleep helper could be at to a random time causing you to wake up at all hours of the night - just theory- it’s never done that to me.

Hope this helps a little!
