iPhone damaging credit card's magnetic strip

I presume that Apple (and others) have taken this into consideration, but can my credit card's magnetic strip be damaged by lying up against my iPhone or Macbook Pro (or even external hard drive)?

I've not found any problems, but maybe I've just been lucky.

What is your experience?

No. A fairly powerful magnet is needed to damage that strip.
