iPhone data plan charge - Family Talk

This may be a dumb question, but I thought Id ask to be sure...

If I was on a family plan with my girlfriend, and we both have iPhones... the $30 iPhone data plan gets charged for each iPhone, right?

So if you put your -girlfriend- on a family plan, does that constitute an implicit marriage proposal? You're at least forcing a 2-year commitment!
