I recently bought a iphone and was planning on keeping my phone when I go to places I deem to "dangerous" for my iphone like concerts. If I use the sim card in another phone do I have unlimited data?

Provision of Unlimited data is mainly depending upon the service provider of the particular SIM.
AT&T will offer unlimited data for the 3G iPhone at $30 per month for consumers and $45 for business customers. (Voice usage will be billed separately.) AT&T and Apple are mandating that all 3G iPhone activations be done in retail locations.

Yes you can use your SIM card in any other phone as long as it's not a Blackberry [which you'll get service but not Internet]
