iPhone Data Useage

When using EDGE for web surfing, are your anytime minutes being used? "Unlimited data" seems to me that the two are completely unrelated. I realize that this means data transfer, as in, unlimited MB, but I was wondering if being connected to the web uses minutes as well.

Edge is not part of your...

anytime minutes, rollover minutes or m2m, since it falls under your "unlimited data package" which you pay $20 a month for that data package.

Two separate entities. Minutes are used for voice/video calls whilst data means surfing/email/stocks/youtube/maps
