iphone dead battery sound

Hi, if an iPhone has a dead battery should it still make a sound when connecting to itunes or charger? Should itunes still recognize the iPhone?

IIRC, it can take a few minutes before it makes any sound. Leave it on the charger for 5 min or so.

Thanks, but I doubt the iPhone will make the connection sound after 5 min. I did not mean sound of music etc. I meant purely the sound it makes when you connect the iPhone.

If it is completely dead, then yes it will take a little bit to hear the "connected" sound.

sounds odd but I believe you two thanks ! So I take it if no sound at all the logic board probably had it ?
