Hi guys, my iphone keeps switching itself off when i have it in my pocket, when i try soft or hard reset it does nothing, infact the only way i can turn it back on is by plugging it in for a second then it boots back up.

Iv also done the full restore via itunes and still no joy, any ideas?

Did you try charging it over night? Sometimes my phone have the battery icon at full but the phone is dead. After charging it,it works again. Also if you keep the phone plugged it will it stay working?

Other than take it into Apple and let a genius take a look at it, no other ideas.

Have you tried to do a restore as new yet?

Maybe try charging it. If that doesn't help hold down power and home for 10 seconds and keep holding down power and let go of home after 10 seconds. If not take it to Apple or use it as paperweight.

Yeah its been charged over night, done a restore but not as new, should i try that? and will i lose all my contacts (thanks for the reply guys):)
