Okay so i think my iphone is completely dead.

I have an iphone 3gs bought in august last year, and am using 3.1.3 with a mac 10.4 computer.

I jailbroke my phone, and have had it jailbroken for about 6 weeks now.

As i sold it on ebay, i had to un-jailbreak it.. however when i tried to 'restore' it through itunes, it kept saying "this device isnt eligible for the requested build"

So i just deleted all the jailbreak apps and basically restore it to as origionally settings as i could.

I then went ahead and clicked "reset" on everything on the iphone settings itself, all data and changes since factory settings to be erased.

Since then, it wont start, i cant restore it due to the mentioned message above, and its stuck on the apple screen with the little loading circle, however not spinning as it would if something were loading.

please help as i cant afford to lose the sale of £280, its going towards an iphone 4!!!

thanks in advance, im not very technical minded when it comes to these things!
