Did anyone hear a rumor that there were some defects with the a bunch of Iphones? I am not sure it is true but i heard there may be a recall.

Apple stock price is still over twice what it was 2 years ago so it's hardly a major cause for concern. Although, if someone wanted to short Apple stocks, creating a false rumor about delays / other stock problems with the new 3G iPhone is possibly a way to cause prices to drop sufficiently to make a lot of money...

Sorry, i was referring to the previous generations Iphone... not the new one. I thought that was obvious because the new one is not out yet.
There was never a recall (I think) but some people were unhappy with their screens

like the above poster said, aapl stock prices aren't really falling hard, considering it's twice as high as it was a year ago. an extended period of growth almost always slumps after a while (that's what she said!)
I just came back... wow you guys are pretty sensitive about asking questions. I am a huge apple supporter. I just bought my second notebook and have converted dozens of people to apple users as well as converted 2 small companies that i work with to Apple. I am suppose to be buying a 1st gen iphone soon and wanted to see if what i was hearing is true. I am also on the market so it is very important to me... A simple i have never heard that would be suffice.
