iPhone 17 Pro Max iPhone delivery on 9/17?

Ordered a 17 Pro Max 256GB Silver around 9AM EST and got a 10/6-10/13 delivery date. I just received an email from USPS with a tracking number stating package is coming from Apple with a delivery date of 9/17. What are the chances I get the iPhone this early and since when does USPS delivery iPhone? Coulda sworn it was FedEx ( haven't preordered in a long time).

There have been instances of early pre-order delivery in recent history, but only by 1 day if I recall correctly
