At the iPhone hacks section.
The iPhone Dev-Team may have found a method to jailbreak all future firmware versions for iDevices with the A4 chip.

According to MuscleNerd the jailbreak would be untethered.

Think we've figured out a way to extend PwnageTool+limera1n+@comex hacks to untethered JBs for all future A4 firmwares :)

We'll keep you up to date on any developments.

This is great news, untethered jailbreaks for all A4 devices.
So pretty much pwned for life?

+1, saw that this morning. exciting news!

That sounds terrific. One of the things that makes me hesitant to jailbreak is knowing that with each major OS update I will have to choose to update or wait, maybe for a long time. Would love to think those days are over!

One of the things that makes me hesitant to try new things, live and learn is that some day I will die.

I thought all A4 devices were pwned for life anyways by the nature of Geohotz exploit?

Doesn't matter anyways. Phone is running so smooth right now and I got it just how I want it. Probably wont update with 4.2.
