Just out of curiosity, if I want to submit an application to the AppStore, do I have to show my source to Apple?

What are the chances of us getting a Terminal emulator with an ssh client on the iPhone in the AppStore?

You do not have to show your source code to Apple. They presumably will do some checking of the app itself to make sure it doesn't violate any rules.

Just as long as that client couldn't ever access anything on the iPhone except itself, it'd be fine. Apps aren't allowed to touch anything but themselves, the contact list, and photos.

Cool, so something along the lines of PuTTY for the iPhone is totally doable. :)

Have you guys actually tried to submit your app? I can get into iTunes Connect, but it won't let me upload the binary.

Apple's not yet accepting uploads, although you can still get everything else ready to go.
