Hi,

My iPhone 3g(ATT) died and I am waiting for the iPhone 5 to arrive. I am looking for a cheap phone that can accept the iPhone 3g SIM card for calls. Someone mentioned the GO PHONE from best buy. I see a couple on the BB site. Will any of these work with iPhone SIM?

GoPhone R225 Mobile Phone ($15)
Samsung A107 $10
AT&T GoPhone - Pantech P7040P No-Contract ($60)
AT&T GoPhone - Samsung A197 No-Contract Mobile ($40)
AT&T GoPhone - Nokia 2320 No-Contract Mobile ($15)

Is there anything bad that can happen if I transfer SIM? Do I need to call ATT to switch SIMS?

Any GSM Phone will work with your Mini-SIM from your existing iPhone 3G.

Do you have the unlimited data plan currently, that is your biggest concern?

If you go with one of the GoPhones, just don't activate using the included Mini-SIM, plan to move your existing activated Mini-SIM.

No you don't need to call AT&T to make the switch unless you have the unlimited iPhone Data Plan.

I was grandfathered into the unlimited data plan. Will that be a problem if I use my sim on a prepay phone? Thanks.
