Hi, I've had this issue for a long time, no matter what computer or iPhone. I've been using iPhone's since iPhone 4.
Whenever I go into the App tab on iTunes under the iPhone main window, I scroll down past the home screens and installed apps to file sharing.
For example I click on Infuse or any app that has file sharing enabled and transfer a couple of video clips, some can range from 200MB to 2-3GB, whenever I move a range of clips from a folder into the Infuse app window to transfer data into the app, it works for a bit about 5-30% and it disconnects like it can't contain the data throughput. I've tried original cables, short and long and in front of the PC and the back. Regardless it disconnects after moving 1 video clip out of 5.
I have never been able to fix it, only way solution I know is to keep the iPhone free data above 10GB, which is sometimes annoying as I may have loads of apps, videos and photos saved. Or move one file at a time, so whenever it fails it's easier to delete and try again, it seems to work after a couple of tries like something is stopping it. I can never more more than 3+ at a time.
Is there a problem with sustained written data faltering off if the iPhone for example falls below 10GB in free data? Because it's perplexing, I've had it in all my iPhones.
On the latest iOS update for iPhone 6 and on the latest iTunes for specifications.
