Curious if you think flashing my student ID while buying my 5S on Friday would get me any offer or discount? Obviously, I am going to try regardless, but does anyone know anything concrete?

Apple and the carriers don't discount iPhones for students. Not the brand new model.

You do get discount on iPads and Macs at launch but new iPhones have never been on offer.
