Hello,

I've changed of phone carrier, and asked my phone number to be transferred from the old one to the new one. I had a SIM card with the old carrier, I have an esim with the new one. I've followed the instructions to activate the esim, and now I can call, and send sms. The problem is that "No SIM card" is displayed on top of my iPhone screen, and I can't change the PIN code in the esim settings.

I've tried removing the sim card, deleting the esim, resetting the iPhone's network settings and then reinstalling the esim, but it still says "No sim". In the Cellular Data section of the iPhone, I have two lines:

1) Personal followed by Yes: this is the esim. An arrow gives me access to settings, but not to the one for changing the Pin code.
2) Used as "Travel" with my phone number underneath followed by No: this is my old sim card.

According to what I read on the Apple website, I should have the operator and network bars displayed at the top of the screen. That's where I've read the advice about resetting the network settings. What bothers me most isn't the lack of display, it's more the inability to change the pin code.

Problem solved today with my phone carrier support. They have recreated a new esim, and everything is working fine now.
Glad you solved it. This happened to an iPhone 13 on my account as well. Called my carrier and they said that it was specific to the 13 and they were forcing everyone with 13’s over to eSIMs. The funny thing is my carrier never notified me in advance.
