I'm wondering if anyone has made something like the iHome (or other iphone/ipod dock) where the alarms are actually automatically read from the iCal calendar inside the device? I need to wake up at a different time each day and it would be really nice to simply set the alarm for my first appointment in iCal, sync my iphone, then have that alarm activate the larger speakers of the dock device in order to play my selection of music.

I've looked around and can't seem to find anything, but it seems like such a simple idea. I could even use external speakers attached to my iPhone's dock, but then I would need to hack the phone's alarm sounds to play my music instead. (I'm thinking that's probably the easiest thing, though. :D )

With the new 3.0 SDK enabling developers to access the dock, I'm sure this feature will show up sooner rather than later when 3.0 comes out in June.
