iPhone docking issues

I recently bought a new iPhone dock it worked really well for 3 days. Now my iPhone 4 will charge through it and plays music but when it plays the music it plays the words really quietly like so you cant hear them. My phone also won't charge off the wall charger but will on the dock. Does anyone know how to fix this. Thanks
