iPhone does support A2DP (sorta)

Thanks to TUAW for this.

Once you are paired go to VM and hit audio. Choose your headset from the list and then you iPod sends music to your headset. It still plays through your speakers though, and plugging something into the jack cancels the BT send.

Ah well.
