Hey all. I have an old iphone 4s that no longer works due to the back of it bulging out the battery. So you guys can imagine how it looks like. The thing was im pretty certain that my gmail and yahoo email accounts... im signed in such as when you click on the gmail and yahoo app or email app, i could view my email as is. I also did not put any passcode on my iphone either. The thing is at the moment, i do not have access to this phone as i left it in my apartment in another country.

I currently use an iphone SE and have it with me. The thing is the same yahoo email i have in that old iphone... i use it on my current iphone and im logged in it so i could check email anytime but pressing the mail icon. My gmail address on my iphone SE that im logged into, its a different email address and not the one in the old iphone that doesn't work. The thing though is i have google hangouts app on this iphone SE and im signed into the gmail thats connected to the gmail in the old phone etc. Thus i could make calls/text to other ppl with my iphone.

My issue at the moment is i cannot log into my gmail account on my computer... the one that is my primary gmail account and also the one that is logged into my google hangouts app. I have the correct account name and password but it ask me to type in the recovery email address to confirm because it did not recognize the device. I do know how this is possible because the recovery email has to be one of those emails as my other email accounts when i logged in, it ask me for recovery and i typed it in and it worked.

The reason why it didn't let me log in automatically for this is because either i cleared my history/cookies on this the day i flew from one country to another on the same day. Thus i wiped my history on my laptop. The other thing that it probably is is because i logged into a different IP address in another country on the same day. Thus i logged into it in my old apartment in another country in the morning, then logged into it at night when i arrived in a different country. What has me concerned is i do not have access to my old iphone 4s that is broken. Because if someone were to get access to it, could they just try to fix it and once they fix it and then power it on, would it start up like how it was before my iphone stopped working? Because if thats the case, then they have access to my gmail and yahoo account and i have important sensitive documents in there. Im much more concerned about my gmail account as my yahoo account i can access it here without an issue.

The other thing is i want to change my yahoo password at the moment. But i got a message

For security, you will need to enter your new password across all of your devices yahoo.

Now i use yahoo email on my laptop and my iphone SE. The thing however is if i had my yahoo email logged into my broken iphone 4s, does that mean i need to change my password to the new one in that broken iphone as well? Because i dont want to lock my yahoo email as well.

Does anyone know how i could get into my gmail account? I already have the username/password. It ask me for the recovery email but the ones i type in are not correct. That is not possible.

But my main question here is if someone were to steal my old iphone 4s in my apartment in the other country, if they were to fix it, would it have all my information like it was before it stopped working? Because if not, im not that concerned. If yes, then im worried because they would then have access to my all files in gmail.

I know this is a long thread but like if anyone can answer any of these questions.
