Iphone downloaded apps

I have downloaded some apps via the wifi on my iphone and for some reaseon they will not sync in to itunes. does anyone have any ideas??

Is the 'Applications' tab active (ie. the box ticked?).

yea it is there. the apps from itunes installbut ones downloaded directly on to the phone will not go in to itunes
