iPhone Earphones with MBP (Late 2008)

I just found this little feature and it got me really excited, I'm assuming it's something new!

If you plug in your iPhone earphone/microphone/button set into the headphone port of your new MBP, the button will control iTunes just like on the iPhone, and the microphone will work as well (at the same time, it shows up as 'external microphone').

Yup, I'd just like to add that it works on the Alu MacBook's as well.

I really love this feature and I'm glad that they decided to include it on these new models. Two uses that I can think of off the top of my head where I know this is going to come in hand will be video conferencing and podcasting.
