Hi,

I've been toying with the idea of getting a new 3G iPhone but have decided that my current one will be fine until next year when my contract expires, at that time i'll switch to o2, I currently have an unlocked iPhone on Orange.

Unfortunately the back got quite scratched when I slipped on some ice, iPhone in hand, sadly the phones back got scratched on some tarmac and now looks quite bad. I've seen a few places selling replacement backs like

How easy are these to fit? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Apple told me that it'd be £140 to repair, £40 i'd probably stretch to, but that seems like silly money!

Any one? I tried the welovemacs store and they're all out with no idea if or when they'll receive anymore.

The ones on ebay don't have the internal parts so it'd be a nightmare getting them swapped
