Wow, too quick. Maybe thats why it hasnt appeared in the states yet.
 
WHAT THE... well, i suppose thats a downgrade, but still, that is very very quick... me love dev team.
 
If iTunes continues to annoy me with activation issues then I may well go down the unlocking route instead.
 
Is it me or is there no guide whatsoever on how to achieve this. Just basically says....yeah we've done it enjoy.
 
1. Plug it in whilst iTunes is running.
2. o2 Activation page appears and you fill out the forms.
3. iPhone is activated.

Worked fine for me, syncing it as I write this message.

How clever, however some of us aren't of the opinion that paying £269 for a phone, then locking ourselves to an overpriced 18 month contract is the way to go.
 
wow that was fast but the problem is we have to jailbreak the phone right? or am i wrong? IPSF should be out soon if these guys did it in a day :D
