iPhone email displaying i have an email when i dont.

I'm sure its a simple fix, but on my iphone currently have an email badge saying i have an email but i dont, how do i change it.

Reset the phone by pressing the power and home button for 5-10 secs. Just keep pressing until it reboots. Don't swipe.

If that doesn't do it I would say delete the mail account and readd it.
