Iphone external cabled gps

hi guys i know that recently the bluetooth gps devices can now be used by the iphone but does anyone know of a cabled option?

i want to de-clutter my car and running a cabled gps neatly straight to my phone would be the best soultion! obviously the technology is there as Tomtom and Magellan have windscreen mounts with chipsets in them but these are like criminal magnets and asking someone to break into your car incase you have left your gps in the glove box, ideally i wants something more permanent and hidden
