iPhone & Family Plan

My iPhone should arrive tomorrow.

I am currently a ATT member and have been for years. Furthermore, I am on a family plan with four other phones. I also have unlimited texting on my plan as well but it's only for me and not the other phones.

My question is with activating the iPhone, can I keep my current package and just add the 20 dollar data plan and that's it?

Any help will really be appreciated.

You can have a iPhone data plan on your line on the family plan.

Yes, that is exactly what I did and have the family plan also.

When you activate it through ITunes, just say you're an existing customer and port over your telephone number, you're plan will remain the same, you'll just sign up for the $20 data plan on your phone number... it's a breeze.
