One site in Australia is advertising "Win an Apple iphone (sic) for Australia Day"
that's 26 January for those from the 'outer islands'.

http://flushmobile.com/au/iphone/

I don't believe we've had a visit from Steve yet.
Any chance he's done a deal over iChat ?

Anybody out there got more information on this blessed event?

The winner will receive an Apple iPhone, which is unlocked and ready for use on Australian networks. The promoter reserves no responsibility, in case of software upgrades to the iPhone that cause it to lock.

you had me hoping,

but would this be allowed?

Would it be allowed?

THAT is the question.

How legit does a ringtone company need to be (?)
to give away an unlocked iPhone.

This was advertised on a popular TV guide page in Australia, so you'd think they'd be jumped on... however the terms and conditions DO state plainly...

shortest thread in macrumors history?
thanks guys

I dunno every time I see one of those Ringtone commercials on TV about texting to get free ringtones, they just look so shady...

I would be careful with this one, make sure you read all the fine print.
