macOS iPhone format movie coding in applescript - automator

Hello!

I'm trying to write/modify the existing automator "code movie" script to work with the iPhone format which is much smaller than the iPod format. Is it a good idea to do this with an apple-script or is there an easier way?

IF applescript is the way to go, how do I write an applescript input to take the output from the previuos automator-field as the input?
