Today, this just started happening. Every now and then, when I slide to unlock my iPhone 4, it freezes and I have to do a hard reboot. It happened at least 5 or 6 times today.

Can someone help me rectify this problem please? I would greatly appreciate the help.

Same Here

This just started happening to me yesterday and happens as freqently. iPhone 4...freezes when unlocking and restarts itself if I let it sit for a second, no hard reset req'd. Any ideas? Funny how I'm due for an upgrade...you'd think they timed it that way :)

having a similar problem recently. Don't necessarily have to do a hard reboot, but it definitely lags.

Never had this happened before on my phone. If a hard reboot didn't work, maybe try DFU clean install and see if that works.

I don't have to do a full reboot, but I definitely notice that it'll hang for 2-3 seconds after I unlock before the icons slide in. Doing a full reboot after that, though, will usually fix it for a couple days.

This might just be my imagination, but I feel like I notice it more when I'm at home and on wifi than when I'm out and about.

I just tried to screen shot the frozen phone for an example...it's like trying to turn on the lights when you know the power's out. Anyway...

1. I slide the lock to the right- it freezes for a couple minutes.
2. goes to the spinning gears screen like it's shutting down- freezes there for a few minutes (gears don't spin)
3. frozen apple screen for a few minutes. then i enter passcode and i'm in.

All good thoughts so far, nothing's worked.

@JAT no, not jailbroken and no Siri either. Might have had a 24hr flu because it hasn't happened yet today (knock on wood)
