This is a little tough to describe so I'll try my best.
I have an iPhone 7 (256GB) running the latest iOS. I only listen to music that I have downloaded on my iTunes and that's synced to my phone. Whenever I play music with the lightning plug, whether my buds that came with the phone or the adapter in the car, almost always while the music is playing the phone will go completely black (still on as the touch ID button still feels like a button, not when the phone goes off) and stops playing music. Then, it'll turn back on like 4 seconds later and will continue playing music. Then about 4/5 seconds later the music will sound extremely digitized and will only stop doing that if I unplug the lightning cable and plug it back in. Everything works fine until it happens again at a completely random time.
This has been going on for a few months now and it's beyond annoying. Not sure if I have to reinstall the software or if this is just a nasty bug that'll hopefully get fixed with an update. I would take it into an apple store for a genius to take a look, but because it happens at random times, it'd be hard to show up and hope it happens in front of them. Anyone know of this or how to fix this? I'd really appreciate it.
