iPhone gen 1 availability

Hey all,

I live in The Bahamas, where there's no official iPhone carrier. We have an official BlackBerry system, but who wants that.

My father and I both want iPhones. So my question is twofold. Firstly, what's the availability of the first gen iPhone? Secondly, what kind of price am I looking at paying?

There seem to be a good number on eBay. I think they're in the $350 range for the most part. I'm holding on to mine until the next "big" update, then I'll probably try to sell it on eBay.

I think AT&T had some first gen refurbs for sale a few weeks ago, but I think those went quickly.
