Hi, apologies in advance if this has already been discussed but I didn't find anything through the search. I dropped my iPhone 4 today (got it on launch day, June 2010 so it's out of warranty) and the screen is completely smashed as well as the display is completely broken (just shows white lines basically)...

Does anyone know how much they will replace/fix it for at the Apple store if I go to the genius bar tomorrow?

Thanks in advance..

Michael.

I was standing next to someone at the genius bar a few weeks ago with this claim and the invoice was for £120

Sounded like it could take a few days too.

My mum had a 3GS hold / mute switch replaced out of warranty for free too.

Screen damage might be different though as its accidental damage and not component failure.
