Hello
my iphone gets hot quickly and the battery drains does this mean i need a new battery or is there something else wrong?
thank you

Which iPhone do you have? You could have a defective battery in the phone and should have it checked out. Apple will replace the battery for $79, but if the phone additionally needs other repairs and is not under warranty, you will have to pay for that.

I have an iPhone 6 but someone told me it could be the procesor.

Could be some app or some process that is stuck. Anything in the battery usage statistics that shows what might be using up the battery?

I meet same trouble last week. If you can not fix the problem by the way above-mentioned, I think it may be overcurrent on your mobile phone board(as my phone does, and I have to replace the motherboard:().
