get get basic directions, but not turn by turn navigation

Yea. Not as good. It will give you directions but not like Android does or a regular gps would.

There are plenty of good turn by turn navigation apps though, at varying degrees of ability and price. If you want a good free turn by turn app I'd suggest the Mapquest app. Personally, I think that Navigon is well worth the money I paid for it, particularly since it keeps the maps stored locally, so you don't need a constant data connection to use it.

any idiot can read a map who needs turn by turn directions? Plus the iPhone map dosnt rotate with the phone so you can use it upside down for going south etc.

this idiot right here, that has saved me so many times, as i drive a lot and not in my car with my navi head unit, i have my phone and im off to go.
