Okay, so do you have to get a data plan for iPhone 4 with gophone? All I want is talking and texting. Can I just use wifi for my Internet and still just have talking/texting? By the way I'd be getting the .25 cents a minute plan.

You can't get an iPhone 4 with AT&T go phone. If you went with a plan, you would have to get data. I'm not sure about how this works internationally, but in the U.S. iPhone isn't offered on go phone.

... It doesn't have to be offered. I am currently running my 3GS on a GoPhone plan. You can take it to AT&T and ask them to put a GoPhone sim in it, they will say they aren't liable in case it doesn't work after you have paid them, although it will work. If they refuse, just buy an AT&T GoPhone and put the sim card in your iPhone.

No. AT&T doesn't know what kind of phone you have on pay as you go, so they can't force you to get a data plan.
